• Bachelor's Degree in Management Science from Virginia Tech
• Successful completion of French-to-English translation courses at Université Concordia in Montréal, and advanced French courses at Université de Montréal (École de français) and Université du Québec à Montréal.
• A wealth of translation experience in a variety of subjects (fields of expertise include general, literary, financial, IT). • Lived in Montreal for 2½ years (first-hand knowledge of French-Canadian dialect, slang, culture)
• Broad and extensive background - over 18 years - in computers/proficiency with a wide variety of software/hardware
• Computer Help Desk Analyst experience providing troubleshooting and consulting expertise (hardware and software) to the university community at Virginia Tech
